Here, There and Everywhere

My computer broke (lame) so I only get online when Bobby isn't using his for school or work (so, not very often)! Here's a bunch of pictures from our adventures over the last two months.

Not going to caption them individually, but lots of Rose playing (or being grumpy), 'leaping' on the bed, being tossed into the air going to the ocean in N.C. when visiting my parents, and meeting her great-grandparents in Mt. Shasta, CA.

Craving OC Food

This Thursday Bobby is leaving for California for a week with our pastor, Mark Dever, and CHBC intern Jonathan Worsley. They will be holding a 9Marks conference in Riverside, and Mark will be preaching at a church (not sure where) and speaking at Biola for a couple days.
(Also...Bobby will be teaching one of the sessions at the 9M's conference. Originally he was going to do book stall, etc., but Greg, the other speaker, will instead be staying in DC to preach at a church here. Hence...Bobby teaches 9M materials alongside our former pastor Rick Holland and Mark. (!) Please pray that he would first be humble and second be clear as he teaches a group of pastors that will most likely be much older/experienced than him).

Anyways, they are going to be driving around a bit, and I think they are going to Orange County. This made me think about how much I love various parts of OC - the ocean, PCH, my old neighborhood, and restaurants. So...a little list of all the delicious things I miss from OC!

-Panbaso sandwiches sold during Hoops in the Shalimar neighborhood on Wednesday nights.
-Mayola's breakfast tamales, jamaica, elote drink, and posole.
-Juanita's mole, chicken tinga and tacos (which she would bring me when I was cleaning up the tutoring center. So good!).
-Pupusas from the little place off 17th.
-Taco Mesa. Especially the fresh pina juice.
-Keane. Decaf coffee and chocolate/oatmeal cookies.
-The Haute Cakes Cafe. The hot cakes, of course.
-America's Cup. Oh, the delights of fro-yo by the ounce with a choose-your-own-toppings bar.
-Shirley's Bagels. Avocado on a toasted everything bagel with tapatio. Mmmmm.
-Jamba Juice. In walking distance of Shalimar.
-In'N'Out. Number two with grilled onions.
-The Gypsy Den. Any salad and their chai.
-Alta. Breakfasts and lemon bars.
-Pei Wei. Oh, blazing noodles and delicious iced tea...I miss you!

Oh man. When I do go back to OC to visit I'm going to need to map out my culinary adventures. : ) As for now, I'm happy building up a delicious list of DC (Le Bon Cafe, Peregrine, Good Stuff...)

Belly Shot!

I went to Conneticut this weekend to visit my parents, who just moved there (for my Dad's job). My sister Melissa is living with them through December and my sister Noelle flew in from California. We had a great time and got some fun pictures...Lady J is getting big, as you can see!

Pictures from Scotland

Bobby and I went to Scotland last May (2008) for our honeymoon. I'm finally working on organizing the pictures. These are a couple favorites.
