There is no Trader Joe's here in Louisville, so besides planning bi-monthly trips to Cincinnati to stock up on the goods, I'm diversifying my shopping experiences. Today I went to the "Rainbow Blossom" natural foods market to buy some Bac-Out by Biokleen (I'm using it on all the baby stains). I also was picking up some yummy treats from their bulk bin.
Anyways, Rose is a charmer through and through. So when this guy started talking to her, I just kept about my business picking something off the shelf.
He told her: "Welcome back to planet Earth! I'm glad you're alive again. Blessings." then he bowed.
Me: Say hi to the nice man, Rosie.
Me, five seconds later: Wait, what did he just say?
Then he was gone, so that was that. The first of many "That wouldn't have happened in DC" moments, I'm sure.
